I started working at a home decor store last year when our ladybug needed braces. I found that I sort of like working outside the home a couple of hours a week. My favorite husband is a restaurant manager, which means he's off different days during the week. If he's off during the week he does the kids schooling while I'm at work. At first it was difficult for both him and the kids, but now they seem to be in a pretty good groove.
The thing that I don't like about work is that, in the retail business, we start getting Christmas decorations in as early as September. Apparently in retail the only holidays are Valentines Day, Mother's Day, Halloween and Christmas. Whatever happened to Thanksgiving? Who was it that made the decision that we would just skip from Halloween right to Christmas? Don't get me wrong, I like Christmas in fact, I would have to say that I love Christmas, but after a long hot summer I want to enjoy fall and that means Thanksgiving.

We don't do anything Christmas until after Thanksgiving...not even presents. Thanksgiving is my favorite time of year and it ticks me off to go grocery shopping to Christmas music!
We don't decorate until after Thanksgiving. Walmart po's me off too with their Christmas music. People were looking at me like I was crazy the other day-- I stopped in the middle of the aisle and said Christmas music, ALREADY???
