Do you recognize this sink? It's the dreaded Fly Lady's shinny sink from lesson 101. Yes, I tried to fly three or so years ago, but I crashed and burned!

I still like to shine my sink. I get aggravated when I wake up to discover that the evil husband fairy has left crap piled up in the nice shiny sink.
A friend of mine, Doobiewah, is taking flying lessons and she likes it. This has made me start questioning my premature departure from flight school. Should I return and start to de-clutter? I always make my bed, but getting dressed to the shoes? Ugh! I like my jammies! I do get sidetracked by the computer, a lot. Oh, what should I do? Here's my biggest problem area, the den.

an organized home is the sign of a disturbed mind. THAT's my story and i'm stickin' to it!
I used to be pretty good with Flylady but got tired of all those emails and dropped out. I may need to sign up again ... too much clutter! I just got a whole black trash bag out of 3 "hot spots" in my kitchen. :( And I think I spent more than 15 minutes!
I have heard of moms who get a lot of help from motivatedmoms.com - but you have to buy their calendar in order to have their system. I'm too cheap (I mean frugal) for that, though!
We let our kids (6 & 8 yrs)watch Evan Almighty after we saw it. There's no language - although you think there will be at one point where Evan says "Shhhhh...eep!" The only other iffy part is when he's trying to cover for his beard growing and talks about trying to "spice things up with the wife." Overall, it's a really clean movie, and my kids found it hilarious.
So are you blogging tomorrow or enjoying a day off? I'm glad we met thru NaBloPoMo!

I like fly lady, but I agree and disagree with some things, to each his own. Now for a subject change:
how has the swan city changed? when did you leave? how long has it been?
I'm a bit anti-flylady... she makes me feel bad because I like my jammies too! I use a little different trick and have managed, slowly, to get things more under control,
except on Saturdays, when everyone is home, and Sundays, when everyone is lazy, and days like today when the kids feel sickly.... :)
